Organic Mullein Flower Oil
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A clear, pale yellow oil with hardly any aroma that is made by warm maceration (at 35Ā°C) of the dried aerial parts of the (non GMO) Mullein plant in High Oleic Sunflower Oil. Vitamin E is added as an antioxidant and that Vitamin E is itself blended with a little Sunflower Oil to make it pourable.

The ratios are 8.3% dry herb to 91.7% liquid by weight, then 0.1% rosemary antioxidant extract added by weight.
- Use 1% to 100%.
- Oil soluble so cannot be used in water only products. It can be used in small amounts in water based gels that will hold it in suspension.
- Heat stable so can be used in Stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions.
Cautions/Contraindications
Some people may be sensitive to the Mullein plant so should do a patch test first before using this oil.
Blend Mullein Flower Oil with Olive Oil when making scalp serums.

When combined with Pumpkin Seed Oil, it is excellent for toning and lifting the skin.

HOW TO USE IT
Skin Care
- Mullein Flower Oil is an excellent choice for skin lifting products as it contains natural tannins which also firm and tightens the skin helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
- When combined with Pumpkin Seed Oil, this tightening and lifting effect is even more pronounced.
- Mullein Flower Oil has a natural softening effect on the skin and improves the elasticity, smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Use in massage oils.
Hair Care
- The natural tannins in Mullein Flower Oil will tone the scalp.
